We sinned against God and earned His wrath. But God is both holy and loving, forgiving and just. He provided a way for us to be forgiven.
Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became a man, lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and was bodily raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and will return one day to reign forever.
When a person places their faith in Christ as God’s provider of forgiveness, his sins are forgiven; he is placed into God’s family and given a home in heaven for eternity. This forgiveness is based on God’s grace and can never be earned.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit comes to live in every believer at the moment of their salvation. He provides power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and personal guidance. He equips us to minister to each other.
