Procrastination Kills
by Kevin Clark

It happens every year. The stores are filled with shoppers on Christmas Eve. Many taxpayers wait until the last day and the last hours to file taxes. But some things never change. Procrastination is an unnecessary pressure of our creation. Intentions are good but “the road to hell is paved with good intentions.”

The story Jesus tells his followers in today’s reading reflects a similar sentiment. He warns them and us not to put off the choices that have eternal consequences. The “deadline” is looming, and we are only promised this moment.
