Pastor Mark received a Master of Arts in Children's Ministry from Liberty Theological Seminary in May 2008 and was ordained at Bethel in October 2006. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty Theological Seminary.
He served as Pastor of Children and Family Ministries November 2004 to February 2009.
Pastor Mark and his wife, Christine, have attended Bethel since January of 2002. In October of 2002, Pastor Mark began serving as part-time Director of Children's Ministry until his licensing into the gospel ministry in November 2004. At this same time he also started as full time Pastor of Children and Family Ministries.
Christine is a very active part of the Music & Worship Ministry at Bethel, singing in the Choir and the Praise Team.
Pastor Mark served on active duty in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired after 20 years of service on February 1, 2004.
Pastor Mark and Christine have 2 children, Megan and Matthew.
Megan is 23, and is married to Bethel's Director of Youth Ministries, Chuck Carter. Chuck and Megan have a son, Nate, who Mark and Christine greatly enjoy as their first grandchild. Matthew is 12 and loves Jesus, sports, Nintendo DS, computer games, legos, Star Wars, and is learning to play the guitar. He keeps Mark and Christine young as they watch him grow in wisdom and stature.
